About the Role

Tractus Asset Management Limited is a SFC Type 9 licensed asset manager in Hong Kong. We are looking for an Internal Controls Manager to strengthen internal controls across fund accounting, fund operations and compliance.

This is ultimately an internal controls role where accounting skills are key to the day-to-day operations, coordination and managerial work required to maintain robust processes and controls. The role is hands-on and suited to a detail-oriented, reliable individual comfortable working with internal teams, external service providers, auditors and investors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Organize day to day fund accounting and fund operations
2. Perform daily NAV calculations, valuations, P/L, cash balances, and position reconciliations
3. Initiate and coordinate fund administrators, custodians, auditors and other service providers
4. Assist subscription, redemption, capital activity, and investor reporting processes
5. Assist development and iteration of existing compliance and operation processes
6. Coordinate preparation of and review financial reports, management reports, and operational records
7. Conduct audit preparation and respond to audit and service provider queries
8. Initiate and execute compliance work, including drafting and reviewing policies, procedures, and compliance documents
9. Monitor relevant regulatory and reporting requirements and update internal procedures
10. Maintain accurate records and support internal controls
11. Assist with ad hoc operations, accounting, and compliance matters
12. Travel to Mainland China for business purposes when required

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
2. 4+ years of relevant experience at a reputable firm, big 4 or large financial institutions preferred
3. Professional accounting qualification is preferred, such as HKICPA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or equivalent.
4. Strong Excel skills and good working knowledge of accounting and reporting processes
5. Experience in fund operations, audit, compliance, or investment management operations
6. Experience in fund accounting preferred
7. Good understanding of fund structures, NAV, reconciliations, financial statements, and audit support
8. Familiarity with SFC-regulated asset management businesses, FATCA/CRS, AML/KYC, or fund compliance is an advantage
9. High integrity, strong attention to detail, and good organizational ability
10. Able to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
11. Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Employment Terms

1. 12-month salary, with discretionary bonus
2. 3-month probation
3. 18 days of paid annual leave
